| 36642 | 2002-02-22 04:18:00 | My soundblaster card 'lags' when i play music. This has happened since i installed windows 2000 on my machine.. I am very puzzled as to why. I use winamp and when ever i play music it will play 3 seconds and then lag, and then play a bit more and then lag and often the elapsed time display will go back a second or so and then continue playing the song but always lags every 3 or so seconds. Any one know of a cause or a fix for this problem? | Guest (0) | ||

This worked on a 56kpbs sound but when i try to play a 128kbps file it still lags. I then alter the settings again but still no change. I think 2k is far too CPU hungry, might go back to the old XP LOL thanks anyways pierre |
