1291874 2012-07-31 07:35:00 Got my self a new acer laptop today!

But the laptop has a one large Partition (647 GB Free) (33.6 GB used (Windows)), so I want to create another Partition (maybe even 2)

Any suggestions on free Partition software??

1291878 2012-07-31 08:27:00 Lately I've been using AOMEI Partition Assistant (www.disk-partition.com) Theres a free version - you install it, and work from that, or gives the option to make a bootable CD ( which is what I use) works very nice and its simple to use. The page - Manuals (www.disk-partition.com) has full instructions if you do get stuck, but its so easy you dont really need them. wainuitech (129)

1291880 2012-08-01 04:05:00 The snap-in disk management could do that, you should notice that, your disk must be MBR, therefore, you could make at most 4 primary partitions or three primary partitions with one extend partition( you could make a lot of logical partitions under extended partition).
I use the Partition Assistant also, it allows me to create primary partition or logical partition freely.
