| 1291729 | 2012-07-30 23:33:00 | Running windows 7 using ms Office 2010, word processor. Updated to 2010 about a month ago and since then when I compile a document and email it as attachment the attachment is an "image.emz" file which no one including me can open. How can I fix this please? Mervyn |

Under the file menu, save and send, there are several file type options so you could choose a different one. Myself I chose save as, save as type word 97-2003, then attach that file. there's no emz option that I can see. Edit: It seems EMZ is a compressed file you can drag/drop or cut/paste into word directly rather than opening it. Or you can rename to .rar and winrar will open it |

| 1291731 | 2012-07-31 00:43:00 | Told a small fib - not actually me but a friendly organisation! Unfortunately I am not rich enough to run win7 (only XP) and only office 2007 not 2010 so was unable to check out what they were doing. They advised were saving as "Word 97-2003" document so got them to "save as Word Document" only and email to me. Arrived as "docx" but with 2 other emz attachments! Problem is solved but still puzzling why "emz" attachments are tagged on. Appreciate your help. Mervyn |
