1267962 2012-04-02 04:23:00 Hi all,

I'm building several bright adjustable LED lights for an electronics workbench. I've been unable to locate something I could use as a flexible shaft, like this magnifying glass (www.thewatermanchronicles.co.nz) stand. This pic shows a steel spiral - I'm not sure if it's hollow to take a 12v twin lead.

Any ideas who might sell this stuff and what it's called?

Thanks!

1267963 2012-04-02 05:23:00 Electrical outlets should have them. Bunnings, Corys, etc. Paul.Cov (425)

gary67: I got some of those small 12v 8-up LED strips from DealExtreme and whacked one of them on a heatsink. Tiny and extremely bright.
