Silverlight is more dead than flash!). I found TVNZ OnDemand to be better quality?! I'll post a comparison screenshot or two Quickflix vs TVNZ OnDemand tonight, though they'll naturally be of different shows... Whereas my screenshots were of the same show. |

I'd say they're VHS quality, which is appalling in this day and age (though some of their PPV stuff seems a bit better, say, mid-grade DVDrip). I've had a few buffering issues in the first few days, but it seems to have settled down now - coincidence or actually fixed, not sure. However, I do think it's a good step in the right direction that they've launched here, and if they can resolve issues around quantity and quality of content, it should do well. I'll probably stay subscribed, and just keep an eye on what they're adding. |

The Movie magnates will want to wring every possible $$ out before passing it on to this sort of service. Personally Id rather just drive 2km's & rent the DVD/BR for $5 . There arnt many good new movies to start with . |

| 1267321 | 2012-04-02 05:12:00 | Yeah considering over the years I've kept up with almost anything I actually want to see, I kinda can't be bothered too. Anything even remotely new appears to be PPV :( | Chilling_Silence (9) | ||

Streaming to our TV (Sony Bravia) we've found the quality much the same as most DVDs (the older the movie the poorer the picture, as you'd expect I guess). No buffering issues except when I was downloading something. Watched a few movies now (the wife and kids have watched quite a few more). The wife loves it, I'm not so impressed with the selection.
