1267175 2012-03-28 04:39:00 Just checked out the website, it says 40 GBfree for the first 12 months. Is that on top of the 40 you are paying for? Or does that include the 40. What does it cost after the 12 months?

You are getting 40GB for free instead of having to pay $30 per month for it.
After the 12 months you will be paying $105 per month. So that's when you start looking around for another deal :D

1267178 2012-03-28 06:51:00 I did a Spreadsheet on the deal and frankly couldn’t afford not to take it.

1: You get 40gig a month free for 12 months.

2: You get everything free for 2 Months before the $75 kicks in.

3: You get a Wireless Modem.

4: You get a “Big Back Yard” where all the places in your Telephone Directory are free, no Toll Call. (as I understand it)

For me it worked out an extra $500+ a year extra beer money, plus a free Wireless Modem. (There’s nothing wrong with my old Modem, so I never even unplugged it).

I wouldn’t call the changeover “Seamless”, but it wasn’t too bigger pain. Like Cyabro I had no idea when the changeover was going to take place and it wasn’t until I had no Internet that I worked out it had happened. Lost a few E-Mails and had to advise quite a few of my new E-Mail address (in a hurry) which was a pain, but one I could endure given the extra beer money. :)

I’m picking next year I’ll have to do it all again when these guys try to recover their costs. We’ll cross that bridge when we get to it. ;)

1267181 2012-03-28 09:45:00 Are they still giving away the NB6Plus4W? Coz that's pretty nice of them if they are, it's a decent router! :) Chilling_Silence (9)
1267182 2012-03-28 09:52:00 We have a completely unlimited plan on Kinect, which is good. But they no longer seem to advertise it on their website. Hopefully it comes back on the site, so others can get in, as it's great not having to worry about data caps, full speed too. goodiesguy (15316)

Na it's an NB304N.
It has a USB port on it for sharing USB Hard drives and also supports IPv6.
300Mbps Wireless N as well.
