| 36836 | 2002-02-24 02:42:00 | While on the phone the other day to 'Clear' I heard the words of the answer machine saying 'Clear will no longer give support to customers using Windows 95, because Microsoft no longer supports Windows 95.' Well I am still confused over this issue, I am sure there are customers who are still using Windows 95 (and windows 3.1 for that matter) WHY stop it just because Microsoft is stopping it, Unless of course Clear Support team is financed by Microsoft, I see no reason why Clear should stop Windows 95 support, I would stop looking to solve new problem but keep using old database for customers until nobody rings in any more. |

Basicly they are not wanting to support something they have no made that the manufacturer wont back them up on. This of course does not stop you dialing up using the OS just you wont get support from the Technical Group. | Guest (0)

Xtra is dropping it soon and I bet you will see Paradise doing the same. Im not trying to put down Paradise because I use them for my ISP but you have to be realistic. | Guest (0)
