| 36960 | 2002-02-25 07:04:00 | i was trying to get a proper ans from some one but.. i wanted to remove some windows components like outlook express and etc>> someone told me to go look for syosc.inf , so then i looked for it and then i couldnt find it . so i went to start - search -files and folder , i typed it in there . but still coldnt find it i wrote to pressf1 s faq and then the ans me as they told me that windows inf files are hidden is there anyway to find that file or any othere way to reomove windows components thanxxxx |

| 36963 | 2002-02-25 09:12:00 | Hi, So from your last posting I remember, you did go to *Tools-*Folder Options - *View-*Show hidden files and folders?? And then you use the search button but still have problems? And still.. this file does not exist? If this is the case, then I'm assuming that this is missing from the Winnt\Inf\ directory and the only possible solution therefore is, to grab a copy from someone else. And if this is still a problem then Im even more baffeled as everyone else that has responded to your case as to explain why you continue to have this problem and why it still persists?? |
