| 36929 | 2002-02-24 23:59:00 | I can't get Liveupdate to work for my NAV 2001 on my Win XP machine. I ve already got the patch for symevnt, but when I run live update, it says that it can not create a temporary dir, and told me to make sure the write access to windows is enabled. I disabled read only for my windows directory, but still no luck ... can anyone plz help |

| 36930 | 2002-02-25 12:36:00 | From the sound of it liveupdate is trying to write to a directory that user you are logged in as doesn't have access to... if you are not already login as administrator before doing liveupdate... OR... You can download the virus defination files from the symantec.com web site without having to run live update... it will download an exe which you run to do the update... | Guest (0) | ||
