| 36848 | 2002-02-24 22:03:00 | I was using 3.11 on a 486/100 with 16 Mb Ram and 600Mb hdd up to about 4 months ago. It had given me 6 years of good service running standalone but when we decided to go online it just did not manage to hack it. :-( Not enough memory, not enoughdisk, not enough video driver speed, sloow printing etc. So I bought a 2nd hand 3Yr old DEll with NT4 and moved the old HDD to new system as 2nd drive to keep all the files. jt jt |

| 36849 | 2002-02-25 01:58:00 | My main MS OS is DOS. (And even then I actually prefer DR DOS). But I've got W3.11 on several machines for Write or Word, and a few other things which have to have Windows. I've even got W95 on two machines so I can use Brittanica ... But mostly I use Linux. |
