| 36842 | 2002-02-24 01:54:00 | I am running windows 98 on a PIII 667 and just got the comp back from techie for a complete system reload from scratch due to a BIG crash. When I now connect to Xtra, it takes 2-3 minutes for a connection to be made after the line 'verifying user name and password' appears. I was wondering if there is a reason for this and can it be fixed???. | Guest (0) | ||

I am with Actrix and when I connent, during the 'confirming details etc' dialog box another dialog box pops up called 'Post-Dial Terminal Screen'. It has on it '**Ascend TNT Terminal Server**', and then requests login. After entering your login details again the internet connection is made. I have never had to do this before. I looked at the connection properties and the 'Log On To Network' wasn't checked. Any advice/comments anyone? Thanks very much Jen |
