37154 2002-02-26 06:53:00 I have received some emails with attachments and when I go to open them a window pops up and says.
Windows cannot find PSP.EXE file. This program is neded for opening files of type 'TIF' image documents.
How do I find the PSP.EXE file.
I have windows 98 2nd edition

37155 2002-02-26 07:04:00 *.psp refers to files saved in PaintShopPro made by Jasc.

Ask the sender to send them again but in a common format, jpeg would probably be best.

In Paintshop there is the option to save in other formats, jpg being one of them.

37156 2002-02-26 07:29:00 You must have had PSP installed before if it's asking for Paintshop Pro. PSP would have assigned TIF formatted files to itself.

I am not sure if any other Windows 2000 programs can read them but you could try Paint or Kodak Viewer or some other type of Grapics viewing program.

The program you need as a general purpose graphic file viewer is IrfanView. Best of all it's totally freeware. Have a look at its capabilities, no-one should be without it.
