| 37152 | 2002-02-26 06:40:00 | HELP!!! I keep getting the blue screen fatal error exception with O17F:BFF83BFC, and O17F: BFF71459 and illegal operation on module kernel 32DLL at O17F:BFFC6C7 all the time. My computer is only 9 mths old and under warranty but the technician said it was a software problem so I have deleted most of my software with add and remove programme but still getting it - it not worse. I have recently installed a CD writer and Norton Anti Virus programme - can Norton give you this problem? Any help would be appreciated before I go mad! | Guest (0) | ||
| 37153 | 2002-02-26 07:11:00 | It could be a software fault. If you are getting this many faults myself I would almost be inclined to save what datya I could and reformat and reinstall the OS and drivers and then slowly work your way through the various programs and see if the problem recurs. Another place to look would be the device manager in My Computer>Properties>Device Manager and make sure there are no ? or ! marks against any of your hardware. If so then you have a hardware problem though whether it is related to the errors would only be known after getting your hardware running correctly. |
