| 37124 | 2002-02-26 05:19:00 | Recently, during a visit to MS Site I opted to allow my Win ME to be set for automatic updating. Now I find that Windoze Explorer tries to connect to the net when I launch it and after a large action, i.e. moving a large block of files, it takes forever to release the program for further use I have been to Control Panel\ Automatic updates and turned off the Automatic updating but Explorer still insists it knows best. Any help greatly appreciated. Cheers |
