| 37365 | 2002-02-27 22:53:00 | What Brand or type of RAM is best? I have 128 pc133 now and want to add another 128. I have an intel motherboard, Pentium 3, 733 PC, and it has been suggested only buying Intel Approved Ram. Is this necessary or will any other brand be just as good. |

| 37367 | 2002-02-28 00:48:00 | nice to see anouther anti-dicksmith ;-) dicksmith don't make ram, they just sell it like anyone esle does. just check the prices you may find it far cheaper eslewhere. otherwise any major brand of pc133 ram will do. it may be a few dollars more than some cheap no name brand but hopefully better quality. |

Or did you install incorrectly, buy the wrong kind, Dick Smiths don't manufacture - they only sell. Also, if you have a problem with any computer bits you buy from them,you don't have to wait while they are sent back to the Agent to see whether they will honour the warranty. D.S. replaces on the spot- no arguments. Isn't that worth paying a little more? Tom B. |
