| 37337 | 2002-02-27 08:33:00 | hi, I'm trying to access a site (www.v-bet.co.nz) but i can't. i went there once before (month ago) but now it either comes up: Network Error > Unable to request URL from host www.v-bet.co.nz:80 through proxy server null:0: Operation timed out or redirects me to 'MSN search' i emailed tech support @ v-bet.co.nz and they said email yor ISP, which i did, then they said make sure proxy settings aren't on (weren't) and a couple more things to do. But i'm still stuk, i've tried 3 different browers (opera, IE6, netscape6.2) and none work, i've 'defaluted' all my modem/internet settings and still can't get there. Wot suff's me is tht i've been there b4, and haven't changed anything, and now i can't get there. Pleeze help:( |

| 37338 | 2002-02-27 09:07:00 | This might sound rathwer silly but when you changed your settings etc, did you shut down the computer afterwards? If not, try shutting down, wait a couple of minutes and start up again. Someone said to me not long ago that a complete shut down clears out any old settings that the system might be holding onto and you have changed the settings. Worth a try. |

| 37340 | 2002-02-28 05:47:00 | Are you trying to reach this site from a computer on a LAN network at work? If so, it looks as if the system administrator has blocked the TAB site. The proxy server is giving you that error message. Your attempts will be appearing on the log files. If your boss does not approve of betting, you might told about that. |

| 37341 | 2002-02-28 07:20:00 | yeah, thankz, but still stuk. its only through a home computer, not networked etc. i've asked ppl, and no one knows anything! wots weird, is tht i went there ages ago, but can't get there now, if anyone heres anything, anything will be appreciated! |
