37292 2002-02-27 07:44:00 Hi,- problem- again! my msn was using hotmail. - Why could I not use my ordinary e mail,as well-on msn!
I invited myself via my hotmail account to get a '.net passport for the second(ordinary e mail address) account'- I had to reload the list of,'now online'contacts, and all seemed O K.
Now I get an E-mail from 'msn messenger' to open an E- mail at xtra inbox and to reply to,to eliminate the 'not verified'tag etc,now beside or part of,my address. This in turn nullifies a reply-send a e mail, comes up 'no such address'( apparently because it is altered by the typing from msn,now at the side of the address. No- one -either at xtra;telecom;you name it- can get access to that e mail. Everything works, mail, the lot-but there is no sign of that in the inbox- and a pop up, bottom right corner, constantly irritates each time I try to use the fresh installation-with'please reply to eliminate that tag etc,on the address'.
I hope this is clear( I have edited this ad nauseum)

Try rephrasing it in a way that makes sense and you might get more answers.

37294 2002-02-27 08:59:00 I think that what Eddie is saying is that he wants his Xtra email to be viewed on his MSN Hotmail account, as Hotmail can give access to POP3 emails.

It sounds like MSN want him to open an email from Xtra in order to validate his POP3 Xtra account at Hotmail, but Hotmail/MSN can't open that email so Eddie can't validate it.

Eddie, I don't know the answer to your problem, but why don't you set up your Hotmail in Outlook Express to use it just like your ordinary Xtra email? Then you won't need to go to MSN/Hotmail to get your emails.

If you want some help in setting it up, post back here and I'll help you.
