37281 2002-02-27 07:59:00 Hi
Some how I have turned off the bottom bar alongside the start button that shows minimised mail etc.
So any mail screen is full screen and hides it...tried ALL the combinations in ..views..layout.
Sure its simple !
Chocolate fish to any kind samaritan.
Thanks

37283 2002-02-27 09:44:00 Thanks Mike,
The status bar is the the right place but dosn't fix it.

I used to be able to read emails and minimise them ,thus returning to the inbox screen AND the minimised mail titles would show in the status bar where i could click on them to bring them up again. Now they are under the inbox screen and dont show. Sorry its hard to describe
Pete
ps I tried Pegasus but it REALLY confused me :(

37284 2002-02-27 09:59:00 Do you mean you have lost the 'quick launch' tool bar with its icons, that is beside the start button? If so, right click the task bar, point to 'toolbars' in the pop-up menu that appears. Click on the 'Quick launch' option. The quick launch toolbar will re-appear. I have checked in Outlook Express and using full screen the quick launch area beside the start button shows clearly, under the email window. EC

PS I love chocolate fish.

37285 2002-03-05 01:35:00 Try Start/Settings/Taskbar
and tick 'Always on top' or similar wording dependent on which Windows you are using.

As a side line whe3n you are browsing the webb F11 will gifve you a full sren and hide the task bar and push it again and all task bars return.
