| 37277 | 2002-02-27 08:48:00 | Don't put ideas in people's heads Tazzie! ;-) I don't bother much with many other forums now myself, but was just thinking today that it's amazing how respectable most of the posts here are. I mean, there's no *bad* language, only the occasional swear words, and most people are pretty polite (touchwood and whistle). It says a lot about the quality of the people who frequent this forum, I think. Anybody who tries to spoil things are soon put smartly in their place. The only gripe I have is regarding the lack of good manners - a lot of people go to great trouble to explain something to someone and never get any thanks for doing so, whether it helped them or not. That sucks. |

| 37280 | 2002-02-27 19:55:00 | I had to install Yahoo! messenger because a friend wanted to use it to talk, and I wandered into a chat room when he wasn't around. Eeek! It was mindless drivel, with people drifting in and out and it was sooo off topic it wasn't funny (they were talking about a virtual pastry war in a science fiction room, among other meaningless tripe). Def prefer F1. (but I guess I have to) robo. |
