37210 2002-02-26 21:05:00 I am connected to the net I just can't read the ads. Still just get blank squares with a small red x in the top left corner. Still need help. Thanks Gavin. Guest (0)
37211 2002-02-26 22:52:00 If you find out the reason let me know, that sounds an excellent 'fault' to have, saves installing an ad-killer :-) Guest (0)
37212 2002-02-26 23:15:00 Some more information would be helpful ... What OS? Which browser? All/Some/Particular sites? Ad-blocking software installed? Guest (0)
37213 2002-02-27 00:07:00 Kerry of idg.net will love this guy -- he WANTS the advertisements. Guest (0)
37214 2002-02-27 00:51:00 My OS is Explorer with Outlook Express. I have checked all my settings and they seem alright. I actually need some of the ads as they are links that I use. Could still use some help. Gavin Guest (0)
37215 2002-02-27 02:36:00 OMG! Ads that are useful - what is the world coming to?! Next thing you know, intelligent people may discern what sites run useful ads and support them, while the other 'kill-the-ads' crowd keep blocking them for the sake of blocking them (oh and the supposed speeding up of surfing excuse).

Good on you Gavin for helping to support a good site - regardless of the reason.

Pop ups suck, but regular banner and column ads seem fine to me on my 33K connection!

PS. can you tell I have friends who try to run profitable sites???
