37395 2002-02-28 03:52:00 Scince Zfree is gonna close soon what ISP will you be joining up to Xtra(ADSL?), Ihug, Pardise, Slingshot, Clear net? And why? Guest (0)
37396 2002-02-28 04:08:00 Something cheapish, like Slingshot or E3. Reason being im a highschool student with little money. Guest (0)
37397 2002-02-28 04:33:00 Clear Net. Why? Because they're reasonably priced (wouldn't say cheap, but they are reasonable), have excellent service, and cause I've been with them for 3 years now (used them for my email while on ZFree).

And they're not Telecom.

37398 2002-02-28 04:48:00 World-net, I've been with them for 3yrs. Never let me down. And likewise they are not Telecom. Might have to goto Jetstart to get 3 of us on together. Will have to set up an old computer under the house, and leave running all the time as a server.

Has anyone done something like this?

37399 2002-02-28 10:03:00 Got Actrix as a back up, so hoping that we'll change it to JetStart with Actrix.

There is no way in hell I would be changing to anything to do with Clear seeing as they closed Zfree.

37400 2002-02-28 12:30:00 To all ISP hunters - for lists of NZ ISPs try <consumer.org.nz> (usually fairly well up to date) or <http: (not always up to date). Guest (0)
37401 2002-03-01 06:22:00 I would recommend http://www.igrin.co.nz
no whistles or bells but give a good service and tech support is on icq during working hours

Get a grip, and be grateful you had a free ISP while you did. Go down to the mission, they could be handing out free internet with the free soup next week....

You should be supporting Clear for providing ZFree for as long as they did
