| 37707 | 2002-03-03 10:37:00 | Howdy Geeks can you help please? Intel P111 600MHZ 128 Mg 133 ram 18gb hdd partioned 4.1 gb on one, nothing on other. W98SE.everything updated muffo. I dont know what I have done. But when I install programs they no longer go in the list: start, settings, control panel, add/remove software. The programs are up and running but not listed there. When I want to wax a program I have had to go into explorer and delete it. But I suppose there are loafing files left. What have I done to my computer? every thing I touch turns to guano. How can I fix the problem so the installed programs go onto the list. When I get tired of them I can send them of to an electronic Gobi Desert. Cheers Ted |

| 37708 | 2002-03-03 20:24:00 | I've had the same problem with 98SE - finally found Add/Remove Pro (freeware version). This program provides the same functionality (and more) and works even when the official Windows componant has failed. Funny thing is after about a year Windows Add/Remove started to work again..... | Guest (0) | ||
