37668 2002-03-03 05:14:00 Hi,

Will be changing my isp soon due to a disagreement with my cyurrent isp actrix. Which flat-rate dial-up plans are people using and why?

Also, in the interim I will be using web-based email from varsity until I get my new isp sorted. Which do people find the best and why?

Thanks for the help.

37669 2002-03-03 05:45:00 Can you switch plans on your current ISP to an hourly type plan.

That way you don't have to worry about getting a new email address or paying them.

When you get your new ISP you should be still able to get your mail from your old ISP.

37670 2002-03-03 07:39:00 Great idea Kame, however actrix charges $2 a month to keep the account open. It's still better than the $5 charge to autoforward my email. I may just do this for one month until I have time to tell everyone my new addy.

Open to any other ideas too.

37671 2002-03-09 04:18:00 I use quicksilver for my isp and have found them excellent.
$19.95 per month unlimited for 56k and free web space etc. Well worth a look. I also use netscape for my second email addy as it has bigger mail storage than most of the others and also gives me an alternative browser if needed
