| 37605 | 2002-03-01 21:52:00 | Morning All Has anyone got the Microsoft Excel 97/2000 Viewer? I'm talking about the free software you can download to view documents others send you, even though you haven't got a copy of Excel. If so, I'd be grateful if you would download the Excel spreadsheet here: <www.details.co.nz and see if it is viewable and try a few of the the hyperlinks, and then post back with your results. The reason I can't do this testing myself is that if it works on my machine I can't be sure that some element of my installed Excel isn't 'helping'. So it needs to be someone who doesn't have Office or Excel installed. Alternatively, if anyone without Excel on his or her machine would like to download the viewer (4MB) and do the test, you can get the viewer here: <office.microsoft.com Thanks John. |
