| 37772 | 2002-03-04 02:25:00 | Hi, with Outlook 2000 under XP, if I happen to be using the phone while Outlook tries to do a scheduled mail check, there is the usual/expected error message, but when I then try to dialup in either Outlook or IE6 I get an Error 756 saying DialUp cant be done because another programe is already doing it? If I then close & reopen Outlook everything is back to normal & dialup takes place OK. Looks like some default setting someplace is getting switched wrong by the interupted dialup ~ but how to fix this? Thanx. |

Looks more like I will have to upgrade to Office XP, & hopefully that will cure it as they dont list it as a known prob with anything other than 2000 . My 95 & 98 never had the prob, I went to 2000 & various things got worse, but under XP all is fine & stable except for this dialup crash . . . Two steps fwds, one step back grrrrr ;-)) |
