| 37968 | 2002-03-05 04:48:00 | Hi all, Has anyone out there tried an ASUS A7A266-E MoBo? It's the one with both 133 SDRAM slots and DDR RAM slots. I'm looking to upgrade and want to keep using my existing ram for a while yet. It uses the ALi Magik! chipset...one I'm not familiar with....any opinions on this? And finally...does anyone know of any other MoBo's that take both types of RAM? I'm leaning towards an Athlon XP 1700 CPU at this stage, but I'm not overly fussed about Intel or AMD...I just want more power! ....and anything is better than my current PII 350:( Cheers |
