38063 2002-03-06 01:05:00 I've just moved my computer into a different room, and I've had to put the speakers on opposite sides of the screen from what they were, and now the stereo has been switched, eg. right speaker sound comes out the left speaker, and vice versa. The cords aren't long enough to have them round the right way, so I want to know if there is some way of reversing stereo in Win XP, or do I have to go out and buy an extension for the audio plug?

38064 2002-03-06 04:55:00 Hidy ho,

I'm pretty sure Sound Blaster (live) released some software in it's mixing features that allowed you to reverse stero. But I'm not sure on the name, I just remember using it on an old PC of mine a while back.

Check out www.sblaster.com and have a sift through it's downloads section, granted though this may be for soundblaster cards only, but then I'm not too sure on that either.

Alternatively you could try the Google search engine (I'm at work and can't get passed the firewall to check) as it's a pretty good search engine for most things.

Best of luck,

Daniel

38065 2002-03-06 06:42:00 Thanks Daniel,

I forgot to put that I've got an Sound Blaster Live! card, and have the WinXP software installed for it, but can't find anything in there that'll let me reverse stereo, but I'll have another look at their site...
