| 37998 | 2002-03-05 10:44:00 | I wanted the Win98 files on my c:\ drive for convenience so copied the win98 folder from the cd to my c:\ drive and although it seems to be there all right, I was left a message saying 'The system cannot read from the specified device.' 001 deskt: 'Error copying file.' My questions are...What happened here? Can I replace that file from somewhere? And will the lack of it prove fatal in a re-install? Does anyone recognise the file 001deskt: ? Thanks for any help...Ken |
