| 38249 | 2002-03-07 19:23:00 | this computer is in a area that generally needs to be quiet (bedroom next door, this is an office, etc) so i muted the sound, using the Volume Control. Now i have to un-mute it everytime i restart windows, because it keeps on re-checking the mute box. its nothing urgent, but its a right pain in the butt chaers, JIM |

| 38250 | 2002-03-07 19:33:00 | Have you tried to un-mute the sound and then slide the sound volume bar right down to the bottom of the scale? This should ensure that the sound is minimal and you shouldn,t keep getting your problem. Bryan. |
