38223	2002-03-07 10:26:00	When I installed xp over 98, I lost my modem drivers and hardware. I have a HP Pavillion 8550C, with a Rockwell modem/audio combo driver. It won't find my modem. I have tried everything from loading different modems from a list to using my old HP recovery stuff. But it won't work. Help please.	Guest (0)
38224	2002-03-07 23:33:00	When you say 'with a Rockwell modem/audio combo driver' do you mean it has one of the combined soundcards/modems? or do you mean the wave device for voice modem drivers?? The simple way to tell is look at the back of your computer and check to see if the speakers and phone line all plug into the same card. You will need to identify the make and model of card, then check the manufacturers website for XP drivers. Also check on the HP website for updated drivers. If you can't find XP drivers but there are win 2k drivers available they may work.	Guest (0)
