| 38195 | 2002-03-07 04:52:00 | People, Is there a way to send messages over a LAN between and to different computers. I vaguely remember something call 'WIN Popup' All PCs on the LAN are using WIN98 and have seperate TCPIP adresses. Any ideas anybody. Cheers KJH |

The line to use is something like: net name-of-recipient-computer Stick-your-message-in-here Give that a go, maybe someone else can fill me in here, I can't remember exactly how it is done... Otherwise do a search on the net. Someone else out there will know how to do this, and in a moment of boredom, put the details on a webpage. Alternatively you might find that there is a piece of software out there that will do it for you. :) Erin |
