| 38105 | 2002-03-06 09:01:00 | My 'system' icon in control panel shows 2x exclamation points over 'primary & secondary ultra ata controllers'in device manager. When checking their properties, it is noted my 'c drive' is in - 'ms dos compatibility mode file system', & that this mode is reducing overall system performance. Nortons antivirus has just died because of a lost dll. file & now will not work... , & finally my Iomega Ditto 3200 tape drive doesn't function as hardware even though the s/ware is trying to do its thing...(This is not life as we know it Jim!) I would be gratful for solutions other than reformatting & starting over ,although in saying that, I hope its not my only solution... |

| 38106 | 2002-03-07 04:17:00 | Try this to fix the problem with Primary and Secondary controllers: Run 'regedit' and search for 'noide' and delete it if it finds it. Don't forget to backup the registry first! |
