When IE 5.5 came out I installed it on my computer and several others and had nothing but problems with it. Microsoft suggested various conflict problems with other programs, but removing these programs wasn't the answer. In the end I went back to IE 5.0. At least it was stable. I have not tried IE 6.0 which is now out. |

| 38398 | 2002-03-09 07:31:00 | I'm also running ME and tried IE5.5 for a wee while but soon upgraded to version 6 and have not looked back since. I suggest you give that a try also. You should definatly update through the windows update site often and not just rely on the auto update that comes with ME. This has saved me heartache on many an occaison. | Guest (0) | ||
