38394 2002-03-09 04:20:00 Whenever I Have More Than 2 Windows Open In Internet Explorer It Crashes But When I Tried Opera And Netscape They Were Fine I Have Windows ME Guest (0)
38395 2002-03-09 05:49:00 Gosh you are lucky you can even open one window without it crashing.
When IE 5.5 came out I installed it on my computer and several others and had nothing but problems with it. Microsoft suggested various conflict problems with other programs, but removing these programs wasn't the answer. In the end I went back to IE 5.0. At least it was stable. I have not tried IE 6.0 which is now out.

38397 2002-03-09 07:00:00 Should I Download Service Pack 2 for IE5.5 Guest (0)
38398 2002-03-09 07:31:00 I'm also running ME and tried IE5.5 for a wee while but soon upgraded to version 6 and have not looked back since. I suggest you give that a try also. You should definatly update through the windows update site often and not just rely on the auto update that comes with ME. This has saved me heartache on many an occaison. Guest (0)

38400 2002-03-09 08:23:00 A free download of IE6 is available from the Paradise.net website.
You do not have to be a Paradise user to access this download.
