| 38384 | 2002-03-09 03:56:00 | I have an internal Matshita SR-8583 E53H DVD-ROM drive which can't read any CD or DVD discs. Do anyone know where can I get it repaired in Auckland? It worked quite well for 4 or 5 years but now when I put a discs in, it just scan the discs for a while and ignore it. I'm using a Win 98 P3-450MHz 128MB RAM system. Thanks. |

| 38385 | 2002-03-09 22:14:00 | WHen was the last time you cleaned the drive heads? It may be worthwhile doing this. A decent CD/DVD drive head cleaner is one by Philips that you should be able to get from Dick Smith or similar. Make sure its one that DOES NOT use liquid, as these are the best. | Guest (0) | ||
