38317 2002-03-08 14:37:00 Somebody I know is having a really strange problem with their network. It's two PCs directly contected to each other running Win2K Pro. The network card on the primary machine had been disabled somehow (error code 22). I enabled it and rebooted the machines several times. Everything was running great, but then she called me a few days later - the card had disabled itself again.

Anybody got a guess as to what's wrong?

Thanks,
Joel.

I had this same problem with two totally different PCs. I think I may have found the answer, although time will tell.
In the properties for the network card, i turned off the feature that allows windows to shut the card down to save power.
Here's hoping!
