Starting with Links 2001 I set evrything up and got ready to tee off.BUT whenever the game site or host tries to launch a game its the blue screen of death or game freezes. The game connects ok using the modem when you ask it to. I have an Aptiva system.Win98. Rockwell HCF 56 Modem. Incidentally my efforts to upgrade the modem drivers so far have been a disaster.Back to the original drivers now. Any help will be great!! |

| 38291 | 2002-03-08 08:04:00 | If your modem is still calling itself a rockwell then the drivers are about 2 years old (they are called Connexant now). The HCF drivers used to be bad at BSODs, but the new drivers have fixed it. You can get the generic drivers here: www.conexant.com |
