There are programs out there but could take some time to crack and the ones you pay for aren't cheap. If you have just forgotten your user name then get the administrator to reasign a new one. hth CJ |

The first link there should help. "It's called Operating System Win2000 Password. Read all of the thread there, (like don't reinstall just becasue that's the first suggection ;-)), and have a look at the links they give. One of the techniques given there will probably work. And if you are not the administrator, someone will notice that you are doing things to the Administrator's computer :D I think you can make a password recovery floppy. It might be a good idea to make one when you get the system up again. |

If you know about W2k, which i didn't then it should take less time than that. ....EASY .Clueless |
