1293002 2012-08-05 02:15:00 Afternoon All

We have a small business that runs a desktop and laptop with Outlook 2007 on both machines. Can any one recommend any 3rd party software that will automatically synchronize the contacts folder. It doesn't need to be free, happy to pay for something that actually works. We've tried 4teams Sync2 with very mixed results.

God Bless

1293003 2012-08-05 04:30:00 Why not use something like syncback free to synchronise the .pst files? gary67 (56)
1293004 2012-08-05 05:44:00 Thanks, I'll have a look, ideally I need something to sync 2 .pst files that have different contacts in them so we end up with the same full set on both machines. Espresso_Addict (8458)
1293005 2012-08-05 06:30:00 Syncback should be able to do that and can be scheduled to run too, only downside is the schedule doesn't run if Outlook is actually open gary67 (56)

1293007 2012-08-05 06:53:00 I was thinking something along the line of cloud based and all devices connect to the cloud and auto sync.

Came across this here (www.plaxo.com) Claims to sync contacts, and is cloud based.
Even has a video :)

NOW I have never used it, or even tried, so no idea if it works or not.

One that I have used in the past is Sync2 as you already mentioned.

1293008 2012-08-06 05:32:00 Assuming the 2 machines have have separate email a/c's with different contacts & mail.....
What you DONT want to do is use something like synback etc to the sync pst files.
It would over-write the 2nd machines existing emails & contacts, they may not be the same (??)
