Last night and today I've been having problems getting our email, from Gmail,.
I've been using Gmail, since it first come out, in the invite days and had no real problems.
The error message is, There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password was rejected. Account: 'Ian & Alice's Gmail', Server: 'pop.gmail.com', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR [AUTH] Username and password not accepted.', Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92
I have removed and restored the email settings and even did a system restore.
Got that sick, of it, I've diverted problem email, to my mail and that works.
But want to getting it resolved,

1291913 2012-07-31 10:45:00 I assume you can log into the gmail website OK with the same credentials?
Have you checked POP access is enabled in the gmail settings on the website?

1291914 2012-07-31 10:48:00 The error is that your username and/or password is not accepted. Check them both and make sure they are right (try logging in online to confirm they are correct) and re-enter them. And check the rest of your configuration. support.google.com Iantech (16386)

If by TM you mean TradeMe's "forums" then that is no surprise. The TradeMe forums are just an online zoo full of nothing but baboons.

Sometimes my Gmail errors out like this. Usually "unlocks" by going through the webmail and entering the captcha code.

I have backups, so deleted all the settings in Outlook Express and reloaded and the same.
