| 1268150 | 2012-04-02 18:24:00 | I got a product called: Do Not Track . It seems to be working - at least they report that they've blocked 202 'incidents' and trackers so far this session . Any thoughts good or not? Site ::: . mozilla . org/en-US/firefox/addon/donottrackplus/" target="_blank">addons . mozilla . org I got mine from ZD-Net where I have a free subscription anyway, but FF and Chrome have them both now too . |

| 1268151 | 2012-04-03 01:34:00 | Could be Google driven, since they are now funding a massive 300 million for Firefox (www.webmonkey.com) who were worried about renewing their contract. Apparently to drive visitors to their search ads and to ward of Microsoft and Yahoo partnerships. Also Firefox are now encrypting (www.searchenginejournal.com) their search queries, like what google did recently (www.business2community.com) for signed in users. There is a royalty deal, and that may include tracking (and preventing) of advertisers track codes via Firefox browsed websites. | kahawai chaser (3545) | ||
| 1268152 | 2012-04-03 04:27:00 | From the comments "Didn't prevent all tracking" I thought that 'do not track' was a voluntary thing on these (tracking) websites ??? maybee this is better ?? http://www.ghostery.com/ |
