Many here have been working with computers before you were even born. And what A damn insult saying you have the skill level of the Techs at PB Tech. One day you'll learn that malware doesn't always remove so easily - Maybe, but I doubt it. And BTW you still didn't answer the question: "Why is it then that a lot of malware hides in the temp files - and why do you think just because it doesn't show you a pop up message its actually gone " PLUS. The problem I had earlier with my PC waking up and the error coming up is GONE! That can just mean its not running anymore as it previously was - doesn't actually mean its gone. Bet you have not checked EVERYWHERE on your PC. Sometimes the programs mentioned don't always find all traces, and it WILL reinfect. Theres two programs that will more than likely get rid of everything when run together --and they have not been mentioned here in this thread. But being a know it all you'll know what they are. |
