Plus, the temp file directories are favorite spots for viruses and malicious code to install itself, if you find a running service or executable in a temp directory then the red flag is raised. Granted you are dismissing near everything you are being told for some bizarre reason, But many of us here have had to hunt through systems for viruses that aren't detected by anti-virus tools (usually because they are too new to be in the database or the virus creaters have found a loophole) so the experience level is very high. Open your ears and take the advice given. I have taken all word of advice from Nick G because he understands my situation the best and is giving good advice :) |
