| 1268309 | 2012-04-04 02:39:00 | Im looking for a replacement for my aging Eudora. I liked Eudoras old school look & feel. I may give it a looksee. it seems... from some user comments... Its limited to 2 email a/c's on the free version there is a sig ad appended to all outgoing messages. Cnet is a great place for looking at opinions of people who have actually used it (not just short term reviews) download.cnet.com Generally , with these less popular email clients, it can be near impossible to export email & contacts to another program if you decide to stop using it 2 years down the road . Thats the big PLUS with MS email clients. So you'd want a good reason not to use Outlook, WinLive Mail etc . I guess you didnt want to use Thunderbird ?? |

| 1268310 | 2012-04-04 02:49:00 | my Clients were using Windows live mail but something happened and it got corrupted somehow and was sending emails with nothing in the body etc and some other stuff, after updating it and so on nothing seemed to work so we are trying Thunderbird at the moment but she doesn't like it that much, she liked Mail better so want to give her an alternative. She dosent mind paying a small amount as she has 2 accounts. All in all it looks like a good program but want the feedback before we go down that track. Never thought or Eudora tho. I know what you mean about exporting things from email clients, we cant get the contacts into Thunderbird at the moment, she has so many as well. Can export to a CSV but not into it. You can import into eM client looking at it Will have a look at Cnet and see what they say, thank you for that |
