| 38765 | 2002-03-11 11:38:00 | Sniff... I tried installing mandrake 8.1 over my old 8.0, since then it been less stable than WinME. Lilo gives me various options including 'old-Linux', which does the same thing as 'new-linux'. I've tried re-installing 8.0 using the old disk, but it just falls over itself at the same point in the install everytime. I have stuck all my important data elsewhere, but is there a better way than just kicking it's ass, and sticking it back on again? :) Erin |
