| 38608 | 2002-03-10 12:42:00 | I am running win98 SE with two computers networked using a hub and ethernet cards. Suddenly out of the blue one of the computers has come up with the following error massage on startup. The startup stops until I press enter and after that the load up continues and the computer & network seem to function normally. Error message ' Microsoft Networking The following error occured while loading Protocol Number 0 Error 59 A network error has occured ' Anyone any ideas on what is happening? I can't find anything in the Microsoft knowledge Base. Thanks DW |

Are you perhaps switching on one computer (the one which gives the error), then the hub, then the other computer? Try turning the hub on first. It WON'T be your battery. |
