38684 2002-03-10 10:50:00 I have been thinking about this issue for some time.

Imagine I am downloading something from a site. Then due to the lengthy time it is going to take and my state of not having enough time to hang on to it or that I just decided not to download it, I make up my mind to stop any further downloads and do it.

What will happen to the info that was downloaded up until that time?

Will it be staying as an unwanted 'waste' in the HD and cause system jamming or reducing the space in the HD?

If it is not, where does it go to?

If it is in the system and I forget the name of the file that was being downloaded, what is my remedy against freeing that space from the system?

38685 2002-03-10 11:48:00 Assuming that you are using the default downloader for IE6. If you start downloading something and then stop part way through, it will be in a temp folder and will be got rid of when you do a disk clean up.
