38939 2002-03-12 23:12:00 Hi Rich,

Firstly do you have a network card?

If so just go to your device controller and switch it off, you'll find then the computer won't ask for a user or password.

You may also whant to check your security settings and see what level you've got that set too and adjust that.

It's only a few ideas but hopefully this puts you in the right direction.

Cheers,

Daniel

38940 2002-03-12 23:42:00 Thanks for that Dan,I will have a look through it all. And it's just one of our two home PCs, not networking. Guest (0)
38941 2002-03-13 01:49:00 There is a simple way to get rid of that box - I've heard of it but unfortunately don't know it. If no one soon posts a quick fix try checking out User Profiles. I think it may have something to do with Multiple or default profile. Guest (0)
