Q. is there a way to save an individual mail receipt in Outlook Express ie6 into a folder made on the Harddisk ? Example:..received from ABC - save in D:\ABC etc. love to hear any sugestions Tx |

| 38825 | 2002-03-12 09:29:00 | I'm doing this all the time - but not in Outlook, in Netscape Communicator instead. I think the principle will be the same, though. First, I have a Desktop shortcut to Notepad called up by 'CTL ALT N' whenever working in any other full screen program. This is done by right-clicking on the shotcut icon on the desktop and filling in the 2nd box to show CTL+ALT+N. Then, you highlight the complete email and go 'CTL C' to copy it to the clipboard. Then, using ALT TAB to bring up Notepad again, go CLT V to show the email in Notepad. Then you Save the result As to a folder on your harddrive. Hope This Helps. |

| 38826 | 2002-03-12 10:07:00 | Peter, its as simple as a drag and drop. Have Windows Explorer open in the folder you want the emails saved to, and open OE and select all the emails you want to copy. Drag the selected files into the explorer folder, and release the mouse button. This should copy all the emails into that folder. If you need any more explaining, leave another message in here and I'll try to make it clearer. Mike. |
