| 38938 | 2002-03-12 22:47:00 | When starting my Win 95 it stops and brings up the box 'Welcome to Windows'--'Type a username and password'.I can clear it esily enough but want to get rid of this stage and let Windows go through and start up on it's own.How do I get rid of it please?? Richard. |

| 38939 | 2002-03-12 23:12:00 | Hi Rich, Firstly do you have a network card? If so just go to your device controller and switch it off, you'll find then the computer won't ask for a user or password. You may also whant to check your security settings and see what level you've got that set too and adjust that. It's only a few ideas but hopefully this puts you in the right direction. | 38941 | 2002-03-13 01:49:00 | There is a simple way to get rid of that box - I've heard of it but unfortunately don't know it. If no one soon posts a quick fix try checking out User Profiles. I think it may have something to do with Multiple or default profile. | Guest (0) | ||
