When I try to shut down in windows 98 i get the following error message: A fatal exception 06 has occurred at 0000:00008387.
I have been to the microsoft site that suggests the problem is cause by McAfee and/or Norton anti virus software. I have neither. Any suggestions to fix this prob. |

That patch was relevant for Win 98SE (second edition). Is that your version? if so go for it. |
